Thinking about creating a scripting language/tool that would allow me to easily rip game file formats by describing the file structure, and one that would allow reimporting custom data using the same scripts. Something like #QuickBMS, except not just for archives but also images, sounds etc.

Not easily convertible, custom data (scripts, animation data etc.) could be just exported to binary or text files of a given structure
