The main cause is a severe shortage of personnel [people out w/ #COVID19, influenza, etc., or people w/ #burnout!] needed to perform surgeries!

There are 134 closed operating rooms out of the 560 available across the province of Québec, and 3/4 of operating rooms are underutilized.
