Let’s be real: Most people think our job is just finding bugs.

But for those of us in the trenches, it’s much deeper than that. It’s a mix of psychology, strategy, and a relentless empathy for the person on the other side of the screen.

When we talk about 30 QA Terms, we aren't just reciting a textbook. We are using a shared language to protect the product.

What an fascinating recording about the toxic culture at Blizzard from someone that grew up there. (Oh. And repeat after me: QA IS DEV.)

Being a software QA in an ”agile” workplace is fascinating. On one hand you’re expected to verify that newly developed features behave as intended with minimum friction to its intended user.
On the other hand… nothing is ever documented well enough for you to know what the intended behaviour in any edge case is. Sorry devs/PMs, but a 3-word Jira ticket isn’t as self explanatory as you think.
