Catching Typos on My Website with Browser Testing

I continue working on my #QualityAssurance portfolio project and next step is a combo of manual and automated #a11y testing

So I updated the four major browsers and spent 15 minutes just to disable all #ai features in #chrome and #edge, while #firefox allows me to do it with one “kill switch”

How are you kicking off your week 🫠

Hey @maaikees just wanted to let you know that I really like your blog!

Trying to switch careers from frontend developer to QA engineer / tester and your honest and critical articles are helping me a lot

I might have to go the traditional way at first (getting the #ISTQB certificate) to get a foot in the door, but I'm already familiar with all the other levels, for better or worse:

The secret fifth level of testing

The following drawing was the inspiration for my Testing RPG talk. Excuse its quality, I have never left the "drawing people as figure sticks like a toddler"-stage. I have contemplated recording the Testing RPG talk and putting it out there for everyone to see, but I share some, let's

I wanna dive deeper into the topic of #QualityAssurance and was wondering if someone can recommend learning resources?

Thanks to my work as #frontend engineer I’m familiar with the basics, know how to work with #playwright and #vitest, know the difference between unit, integration and end-to-end test, etc.

I’m specifically curious about the planning aspect, with a focus on #accessibility 🤗

AI isn't replacing engineers, it's shifting value to those who validate what's safe, correct, & worth shipping. Is QA finally getting the recognition it deserves in the engineering world? #Engineering #AI #QualityAssurance

LLMs code really fast. It's just not feasible for a human to review it all while maintaining perfect robotic attention. We need automated quality gates - this isn't news. But we are still discovering the best practices.

Here's one tool from my toolbox: Agentic QA using Playwright MCP
