just got off a call with Paypal that lasted 50 minutes(!). i asked about sexy romance novels, and about whether i can sell suggestive artwork, and about the appeals process. they didn't have a canned response about most of this -- so they're not sick of us yet. let's fix that.

one person said "buying porn is allowed, but selling it is not", and they transferred me to someone who said "what? no, that's not our policy, it should be the same for buyers and sellers", so clearly they are not trained on this issue.

Just called my U.S. house rep and both congress reps, and told them this:

"Let me make this clear: I want protected rights for sex workers. If there is a class of people whose rights are not protected, then anyone can be added to that class to have their rights removed. NO on KOSA, NO on the SCREEN act, and NO on the Interstate Obscenity Definition Act."

called stripe to complain that nobody got back to me last time. they told me that if I filled out their online complaints form, I would get a call back, and I did not.

nobody answered today so I left a message. in my experience they do listen and reply to these. #savespeech #protectnsfw

just got a reply from stripe, they're asking me to leave a message at https://stripe.com/complaints and saying that team will call me back. Does anyone know if this works?

you can find your US house and senate reps in just one step on https://congress.gov. I just called all three of mine and got a person or a machine immediately in all three cases; no hold time. State your name, the county you're calling from, and urge them to block KOSA because it can be used for censorship.
