Houston City Council Members agree to expedite their agenda-placing power
After clashing over details, Houston City Council passed a rule in a 13-2 vote allowing members to move items more quickly past a committee set up by the mayor. The rules passed more than half a year after voters approved Prop A, which aimed to strengthen City Council.
