0️⃣ I’m starting my 13th year teaching high school math and physics at a K-12 Waldorf school in #WesternMA. I’m also involved in pedagogical administration, and coordinated our high school through the covid years.

1️⃣ This year I’m teaching Algebra II and Precalc year-long courses and month-long intensive seminars in Projective Geometry and an intro to Calculus.

2️⃣ Pies>Cakes>Donuts. Overdosed on donuts after grad school talks. Also have been gluten free for ten years and GF donuts are pretty meh.

3️⃣ Outside of work I love walking my senior Labradoodle, hanging with my family and cohousing friends, going to cafes, cooking, a little gardening.

1) I'm Sarah from Virginia. I'll be teaching Algebra I and Geometry to middle schoolers this year. I've just started to set up my classroom - students don't return until the 28th.

1. I’m Dana, I teach chemistry in a large district in WA. I’ve transferred to a new school this year, which is exciting!

I'm catching up here!

1. I'm Ella Hereth and I teach in Indianapolis, IN. I'm a department lead in a middle school and also teach 8th grade math/algebra. This will be my 13th year in math education.

3. I like gardening and have slowly been ripping out aging invasive landscaping around my house (those 1960s landscapers loved their English Ivy and Wintercreeper) and replacing it with native plants. Here's a pic of my progress. I also have a 5 yo and a 9 yo who take up alot of my time.

I've been off of Twitter and #MTBoS for too long! Thank you @jreulbach and @samjshah for getting it started again. I started teaching at a public school in NJ last year after teaching 22 years in a private school setting. Currently, I teach 8th grade Pre-A and Alg. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, crossword puzzles, cooking, gardening, playing games, and spending time with my family. 1) I'm Marissa and I am a high school math teacher in IL (northern suburb of Chicago). I've taught all sorts of classes over the last 10 years, but this year I'll be teaching Algebra 1 and Algebra 2/Trig. I also sponsor Girls Who Code.
2) Pies (specifically with fruit), then donuts, then cakes but just for the frosting
3) Outside the classroom I am a percussionist and percussion instructor for my husband's high school band program. I speak French and never miss a day of Duolingo. I also spend a lot of time with my German Shepherd and watch plenty of TV.

Hi all!
1) I am a HS math teacher in central Massachusetts, currently teaching AP Calculus BC and Algebra II. I am also our school's math team coach and ref field hockey games

2) The only sweets that can tempt me are good chocolate ice cream and brownies :)

3) Outside of teaching, I love going on adventures with my kids, traveling, bicycling, hiking, gardening and landscape design, and creating memories with family and friends
