When I explained to him the intent behind scattering the ashes on the wind so they would reach Asgard, he said I should just tell the gods we were putting safety first. I had to laugh!
Of course, I should have known to make the instructions and reasoning plainer - this is the same guy who - when I asked him to reseed the lawn - complained he didn't want to dig that many holes.

Well, that was interesting. I'm bedridden so I can't really burn stuff myself. I asked my non-Pagan husband if he could take a pot outside, burn the papers in it and scatter the ashes to the winds. Instead, since he didn't realize we have matches, he used the stove to light them and burned them in the kitchen and then, worried about catching the neighborhood on fire with the blowing ashes, soaked them down before pouring them outside. Sigyn Kjarr (she/her)Loaded this up with 13 mins left of day 6 before midnight. #ProjectLunarSigil day 6 - and the only day I really had the spoons to post on. Kind of a hodgepodge, kind of imperfect, but building up off of a spell I cast earlier in the year (the initial red bindrune), and on a foundation of magic from all through my day to day life this past year. One purpose, one hope, that may not, but just might, change every area of my life if the Wyrd has it so woven. Hoping for the best.
