Well, me and @teahands, it seems.
We've fallen down the rabbit hole of #Project1999, a private server running EQ with the first two expansions.
It is clunky, unintuitive, unforgiving, weird and has graphics that are straight out of the last century, which looked dated at the time. But it is oddly addictive...
In the age of hand-holding and signposting, there's something compelling about figuring stuff out.

So I still want to put Windows 98 on my #RaspberryPi, but I did realize that with #Ubuntu I can just install #EverQuest #Project1999 on my Pi without Windows
