Jungle Brothers released their second album, “Done by the Forces of Nature”
This was my introduction to the band and it remains my slight favorite over their debut LP.
It’s got better production quality, which back then was noticeable. So many albums still suffered from a weak, muddy sound that too often distracted from some amazing beats and samples.
But the JB’s happy go lucky vibe where most songs are fun, upbeat, even silly at times, is intact, even improved over their last album.
This album and the progressive rap scene will always remind me of my college years.
