summary: A white lily is the symbol of purity. What's the opposite of that? Boosts welcome.

I've been thinking recently about puritan culture, "anti-ship" bullshit, and how it would be nice to have a symbol for the other side, the "internet is weird and we should keep it that way, yes, kinks and all"

my first instinct was a rainbow flower, because a white flower symbolizes purity so a rainbow flower would symbolize not-that, right? but seeing this post from spectrumGirl is making me realize that a monochrome symbol would be very handy to have

so my next idea is "a pair of shorts with heart spots on them" because of the cartoon trope of having your most embarrassing underwear be put on display, and that's *sort* of the vibe I want to protect

kinksters of the internet: would heart shorts be a good symbol for "anti-puritan"? or better yet, "pro-weird"? is there a better symbol that already exists? are heart shorts associated with something more specific? boosts welcome.

@MugsysRapSheet It occurred to me the #Weird branding could backfire if some strategist adopts Hunter S Thompsons "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro" quote. #ProWeird #WeirdPro
Doing my part. #WeirdPro is #ProWeird.
