#Taxes . . .

Paid my Fed & State #IncomeTaxes today, a day early to avoid the "rush" at the PO, with #USPS #PriorityMail which is supposed to guarantee 3 days delivery but, in my experience, sometimes fails to achieve that.

I print the labels at home off of USPS' website & then wait to have the labels scanned at the counter to make sure that tracking shows delivery on the date it was mailed.

After that, I get the float on my $$ until the USPS delivers it & my bank "cashes" the checks.

It's just a few pennies but it's worth it to me to make the government wait for their $. 😊

#Amazon order #delivery date #randomness: originally the 12th, delayed to the 18th, moved up to the 14th, delayed to the 17th, and now out for delivery today (the 15th)

Note that I live in #Honolulu Some stamps I ordered from #USPS were sent #PriorityMail on the 9th, with an initial delivery date of the 12th, but were last seen in Oklahoma (so it isn't just Amazon).

Wait, what? #USPS #PriorityMail International #Express takes potentially three months _longer_ than USPS Priority Mail International _without_ Express, but for a about 1¾ of the cost?!?

Was thinking about ordering the #verticalstaggered #mechanicalkeyboard #Reviung30 at https://www.etsy.com/listing/757443039/reviung394130-keyboard-pcb-and-fr4-plate?crt=1&sts=1&variation1=1665028378&variation0=1661988165 (which costs CHF 38.59, i.e. not much more than the cheapest #shipping option) from the US to Switzerland.
