Not a huge fan of Thursday Night Football just because I didn’t need another night of football…
But watching games without Prime Vision is a HUGE downgrade. The behind the QB Madden view with players highlighted and visualized running paths is best way to watch the game by leaps and bounds.
CBS, FOX, and NBC HAVE to get something similar together ASAP.
On this past Thursday Night Football on Prime, the guys on PrimeVision introduced a new metric never before released called "Quarterback Difficulty Index".
QBDI measured the difficulty of the play calling, offensive line blocking & other elements contributing to how challenging the environment is for the QB throughout the season.
This seems interesting to me but no one else seems to be talking about it. Anyone know anything about this metric?
That moment when you realize your new #4k TV allows you to see the fibers of a Hoodie that football staff are wearing on the sidelines...you can't help but wonder: "what other beautiful little details have I been missing out on?!"
Oh and I finally checked out #AWS #primevision...and boy are these stats and route overlays something to behold!

Thursday Night Football with the Prime Vision stream is a pretty cool new feature. Being able to see the routes and available/open receivers in real-time adds another dimension to watching the game.
Amazon is bringing a whole lot of AI to Thursday Night Football this season
AI is at the heart of a lot of Amazon’s new ideas. “What [the broadcast] is doing is saying, now you can watch the defense the same way the quarterback does.”
All of this data will be in Amazon’s “Prime Vision” stream of the game, which is a secondary broadcast.
