My son was home from university and asked me to drive him to the magnificent and slightly austere Preseli hills.
He wanted to capture the feeling he gets from the place by photographing reflections in puddles. He seems drawn to the stark beauty of the land and it's huge ever changing sky.
It was a strange feeling seeing him looking so small against the vast wilderness. A metaphor for his growing up and becoming his own man in this great world.

Cilgerran is a large village in North Pembrokeshire, West Wales. We are very close to Cardigan, the Teifi estuary and Gorge and only about 4 miles from the wonderful beach at Poppit Sands.
Come and visit our medieval castle, the Welsh Wildlife Centre and explore the rolling countryside around the village.
