The residential complex Arènes de Picasso is located in the Pavé-Neuf district of the Parisian suburb of Noisy-le-Grand. It was built between 1977 and 1985. The complex was designed by the Samarkand born Spanish architect Manuel Núñez Yanowsky. The most prominent features of the complex are the two high-rise disks. As a prominent example of #postmodern #architecture it is part of UNESCO world heritage. Arènes de Picasso was one of the first major projects in #France to be constructed entirely from precast concrete elements, thereby demonstrating the feasibility of complex architectural forms through prefabrication. #Paris #bw #monochrome #architekturfotografie #architecturephotography

Morning walk pics. Viger square is probably my favourite public square in Montreal (besides place des nations oc) but for sculptures like Force, and Agora, by Charles Daudelin without any sort of interpretation they lose their meaning and just look like excess.
