The always excellent Brian Beutler, host of the Positively Dreadful podcast, put it so incredibly succinctly when discussing the importance of trans acceptance:
"But how many episodes in American history that entailed driving minorities out of their homes and communities do we look back on today with pride?"
Americans need to stand with the most vulnerable amongst us—especially trans kids.

Picking up my better half from marching in the Pride parade under 'Free Mom Hugs' (I am not a crowd person), I was listening to the most recent episode of #PositivelyDreadful, Girl Interrupted.
It's about a twelve-year-old trans activist and everything she and her family have been put through for having the temerity to be who she was born to be.
We're at the point where we now have trans family refugees. In America. In 2023.
