California-based pop‑punk band The Story So Far is known for its infectious energy and captivating melodies that at times echo the emo era. The band broke through with its debut ‘Under Soil and Dirt’. Their latest achievement, the fifth album ‘I Want To Disappear’ (2024), arrived as the long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s ‘Proper Dose’. The Brighton-based trio YONAKA is returning to Melkweg. In 2026, the band will release their long-awaited second album, ‘Until You’re Satisfied’, which will be out on 13 March. According to frontwoman Theresa Jarvis: “This record’s about love but it’s not all gooey – it’s the dirty bits and the harsh bits that happen to everyone whether you admit it or not.” YONAKA previously conquered our MAX as support for Palaye Royale and toured with Don Broco in 2025. With their blend of punk, pop and hip hop, brought together in infectious alternative rock, they made an impression with ‘Don’t Wait Til Tomorrow’ (2019), followed by the mixtape ‘Seize The Power’ and the EP ‘Welcome To My House’.
