Started our #FrenchAlps trip with a long (for us) drive to the town of #Lamastre, where we overnighted after a quick explore. We then spent a lovely 24 hours exploring #PontenRoyans, dipping at cascades and in the river under impressively balanced cliff-top buildings. A little further on we parked at a ski station near #VillarddeLans and hiked to #Moucherotte through alpine meadows. A beautiful gentle start in the foothills, but we sense there is plenty more to come. #wildswimming #hiking
