It's important to be aware that a lot of trolling accounts disguise themselves as something/somebody other than who they actually are. They try to bait us into futile discussions of issues that are imporant – but that they themselves don't intend to discuss, since discussion is not their goal.
Above all, their goal is to sow confusion, spread disinformation, and divide in order to conquer. We must not let folks like this win.
Trolls are out and about now on social media, more active than I've seen them of late. Several reasons:
1. The 2024 election in the US, with enormous consequences hinging on it, will bring them out more and more.
2. Putin and his US fangirl Marjorie Taylor Greene (i.e., MAGA itself) just got handed a humiliating defeat.
3. The Orange One is on trial, has to sit in a courtroom and keep his big mouth shut.
