"In a world where truth often becomes entangled in the webs of political agendas, the shadow of propaganda looms large. Nations may resort to manipulative narratives, shaping perceptions to justify conflicts. It's a reminder to seek the truth beyond headlines, as the drums of war are sometimes beaten by those with hidden motives. #SeekTruth #PropagandaInPolitics #WarNarratives #PoliticalAgendas #QuestionEverything #InformedCitizenry #BeyondHeadlines"
I recently started watching Continuum again, with Rachel Nichols. She fits perfectly in that role, and as far as I remember, nobody had any problem with a female protagonist. In fact the police's computer expert also a woman. This series is from 2012.

I have a feeling that much of the outrage against women in culture, is just fake or exaggerated.

Kira Cameron is a kickass character, who is not just good at her job, but also emotional, she is not a robot, who just fights, she is every bit of a human being. And she just wants to get back to her son, while she has to stop terrorist from the future, that she has traveled with 65 years back. She is also more than equal to her partner, both Carlos and Alec.

On the terrorist side there are also 2 women, who are not just cart board characters.

I have never read any criticism about their characters, that is related to being a woman.

Continuum is largely unknown sci-fi series from Canada, mostly because it's small scale in present, and because it doesn't try to push political agenda from the social justice keyboard warrior crowd.

Yet there are whites, blacks, asians, etc. There are straights, lesbians. And nobody cared during the series run.

Nobody had any problem with them.
