Houston police, after recent turnover to ICE, say stance on immigration enforcement hasn’t changed

Jose Armando Lainez Argueta, 43, was detained March 5 during a traffic stop in northeast Houston, according to Houston Police Department spokesperson Jodi Silva. She said the traffic stop involved running Argueta's criminal history, and that was when an immigration warrant popped up.
