Nochmal Faltheftchen, Teil 2

Ich bekam zu meinem Blogpost am Wochenende einen interessanten Kommentar: Es gibt einen — etwas aufwändigeren — Trick, mit welchem du auf 16 Seiten kommst, wobei du auch die Rückseite nutzt. Auch hier ist kein weiteres Material als das ursprüngliche Papier nötig, nur das Reißen/Falten ist etwas komplexer. […ScriptCode dazwischen entfernt…] Ich habe den Trick durch obsessives Suchen auf YouTube vor etwa einem Jahrzehnt gelernt. Das originale Video ist längst verschwunden oder unauffindbar, auch die Suche mit dem lieben Bot findet nichts.

PocketMod? Was’n das? Das sind diese kleinen Faltheftchen, die sich ohne Kleben oder Heften aus einer Seite A4 falten lassen und ein kleines Heft mit 8 Seiten ergeben.

I never liked the cutting part of pocketmod, and I just realized you can just do this instead. It reads like a book for 1-6 and then you read like a book from the “back” cover (6) to read 7 and 8. Very natural and no cutting. #pocketmod

Ayer escribí por aquí sobre dos temas en apariencia muy diferentes:

El caso es que ambos hilos, que iban cada uno por su lado, en realidad convergen en este curioso punto:

que tiene formato pocketmod, con lo cual lo podéis imprimir en una hoja A4 sin márgenes y con un simple corte en el centro os queda ya como un minilibrito :)

Esto no es un #pocketmod, pero como una cosa lleva a la otra, he encontrado una web fantástica que sirve para imprimir en una única hoja un #calendario con todos los días de 2025 en modo lista (también tienen versión imprimible de 2026).

La magia es que la impresión se ajusta a cualquier tamaño y orientación, ya sea vertical u horizontal.

Antes #PocketMod se podía usar en abierto, pero ahora piden registro. Si tenéis curiosidad por usarlo, podéis usar, bajo vuestra responsabilidad, este login que tengo para estas cosas de prueba.

Aquí explican muy bien (en abierto sin login), en imagen y en vídeo, cómo cortar y doblar el PDF para que quede en modo "fanzine" o libreta.

#PocketMod permite crear un PDF en A4 listo para imprimir y doblar para que te queden 8 páginas con tus cosas. No da mucho juego de diseño porque viene con plantillas ya configuradas, pero con la plantilla "Custom Page", por ejemplo, puedes poner un título y un texto, así que tb serviría para hacer un fanzine de solo texto.

También se pueden elegir cosas como un calendario, una página de líneas o puntos, un checklist de tareas... Hay bastantes plantillas pero no puedes subir un diseño propio+

Recently ran across the idea of the pocketmod again and after a brief, "Those were cool, weren't they!" moment i found myself put out by a full 50% of the paper being unused. On one hand I don't see how to avoid that without some kind of binding. On the other hand, why not either staple bind or sew a binding, it already calls for the use of scissors, a stapler or needle and thread isn't that much more. And as far as needle and grass goes pamphlet stitching is so very easy. #pocketmod #pamphlet
