I finished #PlagueTaleInnocence! Thoughts haven't changed much from what's already in this thread. I like it, but it was extremely frustrating. Both the mini and final boss battles sucked. Mini because time-pressured crafting-dependent, combo of running, stealth, and almost direct combat - just everything the game game isn't - or parhaps all its disparate elements rammed together in something that doesn't work and isn't enjoyable.

Then the final boss because it basically requires dying several times to win (unless you were extremely lucky first time around, I suppose), and it *also* breaks rules established and enforced during the rest of the game, so screw that.

Oh I also found out that the thing with the directed lantern light where they wouldn't turn is some kind of known bug that happens if you turn v-sync off (thanks Steam forums) so I could at least resolve that one.

Anyway it seemed a pretty small team made it so I can forgive its annoyances (now). Keen to dive into the sequel soon!
