Mona⁷Pixie is back from the groomers! But she has a little bald spot the size of a small coin on her back near the tail, where they shaved off some matted fur (sorry, sweetheart!). I can't imagine why I was not able to spot it earlier.

GOOD NEWS! The RT-PCR test to check if Pixie's blood parasite infection had resurfaced is NEGATIVE! She has been quite healthy since recovering from the original infection last year. It was done to rule out temporary hind leg paralysis as the cause of Pixie's limp. The actual cause of her limp is an inflammation of the hind left thigh. So she has started medication, and has a good appetite and is getting rest. No more jumping off the sofa, little girl! Am so happy!

My friend Macy had some extras from her BTS fan event last weekend and sent me a care package, which the Pixie promptly claimed. When I showed the photo, Macy said, "You have to line up for BTS like everyone else, baby dog!" Hahaha.
