So its got some shonkyness, lots of wobble in the sensor (will machine a better mount and shaft sometime) but the needle sensor is functional! Always stops needle down and I can heel tap to lift the needle! So nice! #sewing #pfaff #modding

Manchmal denke ich darüber nach das Hobby "Nähen" einfach aufzugeben, vor allem wenn die Maschine, ohne mir ersichtlichen Grund, eine Nadel in 3 Teile zerschmettert, die Kapsel vom Unterfaden aus der Spur reißt und die kaputte Nadel irgendwo in die Kapsel ein neues Loch sticht.
Heute: ohne fluchen. Ich bin stolz auf mich

First try on free motion sewing. Stitches have uneven length as the only determination of that is how fast I move the fabric in conjunction to how fast the needle goes up and down.
The tricky part will be finding a pace that works and makes it even, the moving of fabric was rather easy, at least on this small scale.
