5/5: I saw the review of this novelette today and it was so beautifully written that I just HAD to check it out. It was available via e-library so I grabbed. And...wow. I devoured this at one go, almost holding my breath and swallowing back tears. Tallgren tells his and Ståhl's story in flashbacks, painting a desperately beautiful and terrible and cruel picture of stolen moments in the midst of death and decay.
