The past month has been a difficult one for our little old lady. Miss Bristles has been getting slower, senile, and prone to new favorite spots on hard surfaces. The vets found a tumor. They say she's too old to safely operate, so we're giving her meds and making her as comfortable as possible for however long she's still with us.

Looks like I might be going back to the vets with Dexter. Yesterday he really didn’t like being picked up, or moved so he’d be more comfortable.
It just happened again, and he was hissing, which I e only heard him do a few times in the 5 years we’ve had him.
Have requested a call back, so hopefully will speak to someone today. I will just take him if he gets worse obviously.
Poor baby.

I’m hoping it’s stress of the state of our house, at the moment. But they told me that it could probably be a tumour last time I took him for a checkup. They said to go back if they last longer than 5 mins, or are more frequent. I’ve requested an appointment, they will ring and talk to me, so I’ll find out more then, or if I have to take him in.
