Hilariously (in my opinion), the Matt Chorley show's "Matt's Parliament", daily listener phone-in strand, randomly selected Northfield as today's constituency ... but Matt had had that recently, so they went to the next listed constituency ... Perry Barr!

The show featured people with unbelievable Carl Chinn accents pretending that Perry Barr is interesting. Who is this "Ossy Assburn" person? And, there was chat about local sport ball botherers "Aston Villa" (surely a made up name) being unable to arrange a kickabout.

Topical constituences popping-up has happened a lot lately in "Matt's Parliament" and some suspect a fix. I think it's lobbying.
