The great hall really has that subtle yet ominous presence.

However yet again, the National Trust kitchen pixies have spectacularly fucked up the food availability...

Good start for their Christmas extraveganza...not.

Remembering our visit to #Penrhyn #Castle near Bangor last year.

Fabulous early #Gothic Revival castle, and very imposing. If you stand in one particular place, then the castle watches you silently...😀

The whole place is an exuberant over indulgence of fantasy #design and #ornament.

Kitchen and domestic range is amazing too.
