8th Air Force command team visits Team Minot

This is a Titan II Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM.) The same underlying product was also used to launch satellites and NASA's Gemini missions.

One of these was involved in an accident in Arkansas in 1980. The nuclear warhead was lost for a few hours after an explosion.

I took this photo in 2017 at the Titan Missile Museum in Tucson, AZ. I recommend the visit.
