This year's SIGIR 2024 Conference, one of the leading events in the field of information retrieval, once again took place with a strong FIZ presence. On 5th October 2023 the first #Patents4Science workshop took place at #WGL head quarter in Berlin. With many interesting presentations and discussions on #LOD, #FAIR and the challenges of exploiting patent knowledge in science.
