誰にも頼まれていないパッチワークキルトを作る。これ、作り始めたのは10年以上前なのです。夜中にふと思い出して取り出してみたら、楽しくなって少し作り足しました。「ボウタイ」（蝶ネクタイ）というパターンです。ボウタイの形には縫い合わせてあって、縫い合わせたものはまだバラバラの状態です（わかりにくい）。並べ方でがらりと違って見えるので、どっちにしようか考えています。どっちもかわいい。ベッドカバーを作るつもりです。

Not sure why I've never tried patchwork or quilting, but here we are. Evening plans: getting Nelly to supervise me working towards getting this handpieced Hexenbeast finished, since it's been stashed in a bag for, um, about 5 years... I lost my design when my old PC died & only had a printed version which I then spilled a drink on & it didn't survive, so I had to replan it all in EQ8. Luckily I'd done enough already to know roughly where I was going with it!

@abrasrose yes. I made one in 2019 and have part made one for last year. And will be making one this year (not started it yet as waiting for a couple of fabrics to arrive).
Most temperature quilts use 2 fabrics for each day, noting the high and low temperatures each day

Least favourite bit of quiltmaking - finding somewhere big enough & flat enough to pin the backing, wadding & quilt top together evenly so I can quilt it. It always ends up being our bed, & I always pin at least one part to our duvet cover & don't realise till the end 😫 Not to mention having to dodge the huge tree in our bedroom (everyone has a tree in their bedroom right?!). Cats are shut out because cats=chaos.

I have curved safety pins. I'm going in.
