My kid has a good friend in the neighborhood. They love to hang out pretty much everyday. It is so hard for me to not embarrass them because they make a "cute couple".

For breakfast this morning, Paul ordered in a McDonald's breakfast. He'd promised me one after I'd finished giving birth. Why? Well, for me, a McDonald's breakfast is something I always indulge in when I'm getting a morning train back from Paddington to Truro. I think symbolically for me, it's like a representation of finishing one grand journey (which, for me, any trip to London usually is) and then going back to the main journey that is my life... 1/

Our family has a policy where the kids are allowed to ask any question and us parents will answer as best we can. All was going well until my 6 year old asked me what "ballbag" means and I got lost in fits of giggles.
