Let's move on to the last part of our 2023 highlights: our participation in #PaderbornUniversity's Research Day🎓, the""Fundamental Limits of Large Language Models" workshop @[email protected] 👩‍💼, the start of our lecture series "Robust AI"👩‍💻, as an AI expert Barbara Hammer was invited to discuss Alexa, ChatGPT & Co at the Körber-Stiftungs' "Let's Talk Tech!" event🤩 and, of course, our first retreat in Bad Sassendorf!🥳

It's time for the next project presentation🤩: "Efficient Explainable Learning on Knowledge Graphs" (ENEXA) is a European project developing human-centered explainable machine learning approaches for real world #KnowledgeGraphs.

👉The project is led by @diceresearch #PaderbornUniversity with partners from #NCSRDemokritos, #EUSatCen, #INDElab #UniversityOfAmsterdam & #webLyzard🤝 ENEXA is a Horizon Europe project funded by the European Union.

Time for another project: The @SAILnetwork (Sustainable Life-Cycle of Intelligent Socio-Technical Systems) is an interdisciplinary and interinstitutional collaboration of @[email protected], #PaderbornUniversity, #HSBI & #THOWL funded by #MKWNRW 🤝⛵️

💡SAIL has a focus on the full life-cycle of AI and addresses both basic research in the field of AI, its implications from the perspective of the humanities & social sciences, and concrete applications in Industry 4.0 & Intelligent Healthcare.

Today another research project in which DICE is participating:

ℹ️ INGRID (Information System Graffiti in Germany) is a joint project of #PaderbornUniversity and @KIT_Karlsruhe in which linguistics (UPB) & art history (KIT) are involved.🤝 It provides a scientific view of the phenomenon of #graffiti

🎓 Within INGRID, DICE creates and maintains a comprehensive RDF #KnowledgeGraph of annotated graffiti images for scientific use.🌈
