➤ 2 candidates running: Seguro (PS-S&D) and Ventura (CH-PfE)
➤ Outgoing president: Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa (*-EPP)
➤ Some municipalities will only hold the election on 15 February due to floods

As no candidate has received more that 50% of the vote in the first-round, a run-off election will oppose António José Seguro (PS-S&D) and André Ventura (CH-PfE).
The run-off election will take place on 8 February 2026. This will be the first presidential run-off election in Portugal since 1986.
