I’ve been back at work after more than three weeks off (mostly for garden renovations - hard work!) for two days and, as per usual, I have felt the bite of inspiration! I’ve made several #conlanging notes for me to pick up when I next have a spare few days. But alas! today is not a spare day; I begin my shift at lunch time!

Does anyone know if there’s natlang precedence for the change /ɸ/ > /u/? Particularly in environments like CɸV?
Velars like /x ɣ/ > /i/ seem pretty well attested so why not a bilabial to a rounded vowel?
I want to use it to make diphthongs.

One of my #conlangs has Celtic-style initial consonant mutations (mostly inspired by Welsh)
Recently I’ve been toying with the idea of including the change /s/ > /t/ as part of the nasal mutation. The current paradigm is as follows:
/p t k/ > /f θ χ/
/b d ɡ/ > /v ð ø/
But I’m thinking of including
/s/ > /t/
because /ns/ > /nt/ is already a sound change that occurs within words and it would be the only occurrence of /s/ mutating.
