Of course it didn't hurt #DougFord's popularity, the point was to make him *LOOK* like he's standing up to a bully (note, he is a bully himself)!

The ad was produced for a domestic, that is #Canadian, audience, was poll tested in #Canada (not the US) prior to being run, & was run over #MarkCarney's (Prime Minister, responsible for International Trade) objections!

This has always been about Ford laying the groundwork for #PierrePoilievre's (The Federal Conservative Leadership) job!
