Excursion from Cannon Beach, Oregon, north on 101 and across the marvelous Megler Bridge into Washington in form of Long Beach and #Oysterville. I love the restful, world-forgotten atmosphere of Oysterville, once the county seat and a lively, successful town built on the exploitation of a natural resource people thought of as endless. Today, fragile-looking, lovely old homes fill in part of what used to be there, and some abandoned streets continue existing as wide, straight swaths of #grass
