Interesting to see #HCR104fm rebrand as #OuseValleyRadio. "Huntingdon Community Radio" was a good initial name but is somewhat limiting. #Huntingdon #Huntingdonshire

I should really read up on #StokeOnTrent, which formed from a federation of 6 towns. The situation there was undoubtedly different, but there still might be helpful things to learn. #OuseValley #OuseValleyUrbanArea #Huntingdonshire
The "Ouse Valley Urban Area" could have a population approaching 100k, which would give it a voice that can be heard amongst the likes of #Cambridge (150k) and #Peterborough (215k). This would not only be good for local government reorganization but could help attract businesses, investment, tourism, residents and shoppers. An enhanced sense of local identity would help too. #OuseValley #OuseValleyUrbanArea #Huntingdonshire
I'm sure at some point I've suggested somewhere that there's some sense in treating the run of settlements along the #GreatOuse from #StIves to #Brampton (and onwards to #StNeots if you're feeling optimistic) as a single "Ouse Valley Urban Area". They're all fairly interlinked, have many similarities and would benefit from a unified voice, especially in the context of local government reorganization. #OuseValley #OuseValleyUrbanArea #Huntingdon #Godmanchester
