The next film Lydia and I will be discussing is a 1930 WW1 spy thriller/romance "Inside the Lines".
A remake of a 1918 silent film, which in turn was based on a 1915 Broadway play, all of the same name.

The Greene family while at a reading of a will, begin being murdered one by one. Detective Philo Vance (William Powell) is brought in to solve the mystery.
This is Powell's second outing as Philo Vance and was based on the novel published the year before by author S.S. Van Dine (Willard Huntington Wright).
