the new #ultracode feature in #claudecode is pretty cool - and burning through a lot of #tokens, my Max 5 plan shrinks quickly.
ultracode by default spawns the fanout with the current model, which for ultracode is #opus on xhigh thinking, but not all what it does actually needs that - sure its the best in coding, sonnet does a good enough job for most things code too, so i've created a small prompt for my CLAUDE.md which will limit the token burn a bit. (it will still max out your session-counter quick enough ;)
