Going through the @eff tips on Opt-Out October I got Spokeo to delete my information.

I noticed with Spokeo:

1) The information is 7 years out of date

2) The information on everyone's profile is extremely misleading suggesting that, for example, the person may have a criminal record when they don't - its just click-bait to get you to pay to view.

Taking the information down was immediate so that is one positive.
