Aunque la frase viral "Mi batería está baja y está oscureciendo" fue una interpretación poética de su telemetría, el sentimiento fue real: el adiós de un héroe solitario. 💔
El 13 de febrero de 2019, la misión terminó. "Oppy" descansa hoy bajo el polvo rojo. Gracias por todo, pequeño explorador. 🌑🛰️

We have yet to hear from @MarsRovers Opportunity, but we continue actively sending commands + listening. November to January is usually windy on Mars, which may lead to some dust clearing from the spacecraft's solar panels and help #OppyPhoneHome. Update on Opportunity Rover after Martian Dust Storm

As the skies above Opportunity continue to clear, engineers at JPL are increasing the frequency of commands asking the solar-powered rover to communicate with Earth.
