I see calls for #India to have a #UCC / #UniformCivilCode.

I read some women feel they'll be more oppressed if that happens.

And then I read the following and now very much doubt that a legal system that can defend this level of #OppressionOfWomen should be relied on to produce a non-oppressive UCC.
