I have a 3 yr old grandson who displays some of the #narcissistic #self-centered behaviour consistent with that age group. He's growing out of it.
Looking at Trump's bio, it appears he's stayed #oppositional, #defiant, #obnoxious and incapable of empathy his whole life.
At some point, I would guess #narcissists become full blown #sociopaths.
This describes not only #Trump, but a huge swath of his base, and quite a few #Republican politicians as well.
I remember putting on *Nursery Cryme* on the #turntable when I was a kid and turning it up. WAY up.
"The Musical Box" would come on and I would, just, totally freak-out-lose it after the "play my song... here it comes again" part - bouncing on the bed, hitting the walls, jumping like a little fucking maniac.
During the final chorus, I would scream along with Peter "Now, Now, Now!" spit and sweat and clothes flying around. Total fucking mess.
But now, now... not unlike Old King Cole, I'm just a merry old soul, and the song came on a little while ago as I was working on a database, and I just hummed "Oh, brush back your hair and let me get to know your flesh" absently as I tabbed down a few fields.
