If they took the sound from a microphone that was further away, the spike wouldn't be *before* the ball passed the bat, it would be *after*.
So the "explanation" is wrong.

I'm learning how to use #friction a 2d #motionGraphic package. It is a really nice package and works well.
I'm starting to get into the more advanced stuff and I'm not sure I'm doing things right.
I added 2 text effects to a text element. One to control opacity and the other to control rotation with keys.
The diminish points seems to interact. It could be #operatorError but I'm wondering if it is suppose to work or is this an area not fully debug or something else.
Is it suppose to work?
I have spent the last few months fighting with the fact that DuckDB will not take documents that are not in UTF-8, and that Oracle SQL Developer doesn't export to CSV in UTF-8.
Today I found out that there is setting right there in the export dialog that allows me to output to UTF-8. I am both so frustrated and extremely happy.

Earlier, I could not figure out why the audio was so soft on my laptop. I turned it up all the way & still couldn't hear it hardly.
So I got out a bluetooth speaker & connected it. Audio was fine. Tormented the cats for a bit, did the dinner bit, then sat down to do Duolingo.
The reason my audio sucked was I had headphones plugged in. I'm glad I realized it before I hit play & put them on--I'd have been blasted into orbit.
Nice day outside and I have nothing to grill.
