OpenGitOps is a set of open-source standards and best practices.

Did you know that #OpenGitOps provides a collection of resources relating to #GitOps such as books, papers, articles, etc?

I'm honored to find Josia, Baris and my book listed there as well.

Thanks @makkes and Scott Rigby for listing us 🙏

If that's not a motivation to start work on the translation, what is? 😀

If you're interested in #GitOps, the CNCF #OpenGitOps project #GitOpsCon was in Seattle last month the week after the PowerShell and DevOps summit.

They have all their videos posted to YouTube already, and here's the playlist:

The colour I used is of Cloudogu's corparate design. So not a good match for the upstream repo.
I just forked it.

For the upstream, maybe the main colors of the #opengitops projects might be a good match?

#GitOps and #DevOps can be hard to define sometimes. What is your definition? How do they differ?

What’s in a name? Moving GitOps beyond buzzword

Unlike many other technical portmanteaus, “GitOps” is worth defining, says @rwwmike, and here’s why:

I wrote an article about #minimalism in #opensource development this month, and I find myself wondering now:

Do minimalist open source projects tend to adopt a BDFL approach to #governance?

It's the antithesis to design-by-committee, after all, isn't it? And what could be less minimalist than design-by-committee?

At the same time, #OpenGitOps is an open source effort by 100+ individuals from 40+ companies that produced a minimalist definition for #GitOps.

Thoughts?
