We’re happy to share that we successfully wrapped up the IDAHO project at #OAT25 with a presentation of the final findings from our mixed-method study!
We found that researchers with weak institutional ties do experience affiliation-specific #barriers. To address this, we derive five recommendations for academic publishers to mitigate these obstacles and make #OA publishing more diverse and equitable.

The goal of this survey is to better understand how publications are valued at your institution, by your relevant funding bodies, etc., to help inform how papers in Semantic Web venues (e.g., ISWC) should be published in future. The survey is anonymous (modulo the responses you provide). The results will be shared with the community, so please assume that your response will become public.
