I also coorganized two events in 2024. First, the second edition of the Knowledge Graphs For Sustainability workshop (@kg4s), which was collocated with the Extended Semantic Web Conference #ESWC (@eswc_conf). In the picture are some of the workshop participants, including two PhDs who I advise, Diellza Elshani (@diellza) and Nadeen Fathallah (@nadeenfathallah), who presented papers in the workshop and in the conference. Back in Berlin. The #ESWC was an interesting conference. It has provided me with a deeper insight into the state-of-the-art research within the semantic web community. Honestly, I had limited knowledge of the semantic web and only grasped certain aspects of the presented work. However, learning about the challenges involved in constructing and working with knowledge graphs has helped me revise and update my ideas about the progress in the field of semantic web.
