Only reason I'm still on that hellsite is friends, else I'd just use bluesky and mastodon. I don't have twitter on my phone for a reason.
Ideally if the Old Twitter Layout Dev's twitter alternative whispy.org with it's mixing with twitter timelines works out, I'll just switch to that.
For now, it's a combo of Old Twitter Layout, Blue blocker, and UBlock Origin (for firefox at least for the ads).

Blue blocker also only seemed to be updated for chrome store? it's 0.4.2 in the chrome web store but 0.3.5 for firefox add-ons. it's available for both at the git hub but it does'nt seemed to be updating for the addons page so I'm sure what that means.
I'm going to continue to monitor that activity for using the Old Twitter Layout on Chrome.

Okay so interesting update about the Old Twitter Layout extension. I switched to chrome and "installed" it as an app on my desktop.
So far if I use the extension on chrome Twitter doesn't kick me or lock my account, and Blue Blocker seems work with it on chrome as well.
